'Take your heart between your teeth!'

... is a German-Romanian director, writer and cinematographer. He directed children’s serial programs for Disney Channel, as well as thrillers or crime shows for TV and historical dramas, such as SISI – one of Germany’s biggest TV shows. In his teenage years he worked as a freelance photographer and journalist for picture agencies in Germany. From 2001 to 2007 he studied cinematography and directing at the Ludwigsburg Film Academy, where he began to make a name for himself with a number of short movies as SREBRONISZ – WAR PHOTOGRAPHER and KINGDOM OF YOUTH. He graduated film school with his first full length feature film CARNE LA BUCURESTI, a horror-thriller, which has been invited to numerous international festivals, including Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and Germany’s highly acclaimed Hof International Film Festival. The horror thriller URBAN EXPLORER was his first co-production with America and has been praised by Variety as „Maximum impact and a balance of craft and patience“. Due to his experience in both directing and cinematography Andy Fetscher's movies fuse fierce storytelling with a strong visual language.
